if you feel like shit then you most likely want to avoid people and avoid going to school and everything and hey maybe you do need a break so it’s fine to do that every once in a while but if you keep doing it you’re most likely gonna feel worse so please don’t isolate yourself from the world for too long
just a note
As a mother,
I would worry about
my child’s health—
mentally, physically, emotionally.
I would ask if s/he has been eating well,
if s/he has been sleeping well,
and I would be so typical
as to worry about his/her academic status.
What I wouldn’t do is
force my own experiences onto them,
tell them to listen because I am older
and credibly, wiser
and if they don’t,
I definitely wouldn’t make them feel guilty.
I’ll be there as a mother should.
